Day 4 of the NEET 45-Day Challenge focuses on the updated exam pattern for NEET 2025. Knowing the changes in the exam format is crucial for candidates preparing for the test. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made some key changes to the NEET UG 2025 exam. Notably, the optional questions have been removed, leading to the elimination of Section B. As a result, the exam now consists of 180 multiple-choice questions, with 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The total exam duration has been shortened to 180 minutes, or three hours. Candidates will need to answer all questions within this time, as there are no longer any optional questions. The exam is worth a total of 720 marks. The NEET 2025 exam will continue to be conducted in an offline mode using pen-and-paper. Students will select answers from four options for each question. The NTA's announcement states that the exam structure will revert to the pre-COVID format. Candidates should keep in mind that the exam is scheduled for May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam will only have one section with compulsory questions, reflecting the updated pattern aimed to streamline the testing process. Preparing with this new format in mind will be beneficial for all aspirants.
