Neil Lennon likely to become Dunfermline's new manager
Dunfermline Athletic football club is seeking to hire Neil Lennon as their new manager. This comes after the club recently fired Michael Tidser, who had a short tenure of just 60 days and 11 matches. Lennon, a former manager of Celtic, is reportedly considering a lucrative offer from Dunfermline. The club is currently struggling in the Championship and is worried about being relegated to League One. They believe Lennon could help guide them out of this difficult position. The 53-year-old Lennon has been out of management since leaving Rapid Bucharest last year. Although he has been working in the media, he is eager to return to coaching. He has previous experience with several clubs, including Celtic, Bolton, Hibernian, and Omonia in Cyprus. If Lennon accepts the job, his first match in charge could be against Ayr United. Ayr is currently managed by Scott Brown, a former captain of Celtic. Dunfermline hopes that Lennon will be in place to start after the international break.
