Nellore procures 15,000 tonnes of paddy so far

Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar announced that over 15,000 tonnes of paddy have been procured in SPSR Nellore district. He made this statement during a meeting with local ministers and MLAs on Tuesday. The Minister assured farmers that paddy with a moisture content of 17-20% will also be accepted for procurement. He promised that payment would be made to their accounts within 24 hours after the procurement. Procurement will continue through Rythu Seva Kendra (RSK) centres. Manohar mentioned that he will work with millers to ensure a smooth process. He also shared that artificial intelligence is being used to make paddy procurement easier. Farmers can now check their sales details by sending a message saying "Hi" to a specific number. Other officials were present during the meeting, including MA&UD Minister Ponguru Narayana and Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy.
