NEQSOL expands women leadership program in Azerbaijan
NEQSOL Holding has announced the second phase of its leadership program for female university students in Azerbaijan. The program, called "Parla," which means "shine" in Azerbaijani, is in partnership with the Education Development Fund of Azerbaijan. This year, 50 new female students have been selected, bringing the total to 100 participants. The selection process was competitive, with 791 applicants this year compared to 674 last year. Candidates were evaluated based on their academic performance and economic background. Participants will receive monthly financial support until they graduate. They will also have access to various resources, such as English classes, IELTS preparation, internships, mentorships, and online courses from top universities. Imran Ahmadzada, the head of NEQSOL Holding Azerbaijan, emphasized the importance of education for empowering young women. He believes the program will help them gain skills and confidence needed to succeed in their careers. The Parla program highlights the collaboration between the private and public sectors to improve educational opportunities for women in Azerbaijan.
