Netflix faces streaming delays during Tyson-Paul fight broadcast
Netflix faced significant streaming delays during its first live sports event, the Tyson-Paul fight, frustrating many viewers. Nearly 85,000 users reported issues on Down Detector, with complaints about buffering before and during the match. The fight, which Paul won by unanimous decision, was Netflix's largest live sports event, streamed globally to its 280 million subscribers. Netflix plans to broadcast two NFL games on Christmas Day and WWE "Raw" starting January 6. In addition to streaming issues, viewers also saw an unexpected moment when Tyson appeared in a jockstrap during a pre-fight interview. Netflix acknowledged the incident but did not comment on the streaming problems.
