New allegations surface against Matt Gaetz over payments for sex and Broadway outing
New allegations have emerged against former Rep. Matt Gaetz, claiming he paid two women in 2019 to travel to New York for sex. Their attorney stated they provided text messages related to drug purchases and payments for sex to the House Ethics Committee. The women reported that Gaetz invited them to a Fox News appearance and then took them to dinner and a Broadway show, "Pretty Woman." They also testified about a trip to the Bahamas where Gaetz was present with other young women. Gaetz resigned from Congress last week after being nominated as Attorney General by Donald Trump. His resignation has ended the Ethics Committee's investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and drug use, which included witness statements about a party involving a minor. Gaetz has denied any wrongdoing.
