New bus stand inaugurated in Aduthurai, Tamil Nadu
A new bus stand has been inaugurated in Aduthurai, Thanjavur district. The event took place on Sunday and was attended by Municipal Administration Minister K.N. Nehru and Higher Education Minister Govi Chezhiaan. The bus stand is named after former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. It was built at a cost of ₹3.17 crore through a government program called the Kalaignar Nagarpura Mempattu Thittam. On this occasion, the ministers also flagged off 10 buses. These buses will operate on various routes. Thanjavur Collector B. Priyanka Pankajam and Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation managing director R. Ponmudy were also present at the ceremony.
