New drama "The Haunted Palace" teaser released by SBS

SBS has released a new teaser for its upcoming drama "The Haunted Palace." This show blends fantasy, history, and romance. It centers on a vengeful spirit known as the Eight Feet Tall, a female shaman, and a creature called Imugi. In Korean folklore, an Imugi is a mythical being that lives in water for a thousand years. It can transform into a dragon if it gains a magical jewel called yeouiju. The teaser introduces Gang Cheol Yi, an Imugi who failed to ascend to heaven. The story also features Yook Sungjae as a royal archivist named Yoon Gap and WJSN’s Bona as the shaman Yeo Ri. The teaser shows various charming moments between Yoon Gap and Yeo Ri. However, Yoon Gap is possessed by Gang Cheol Yi, which makes him act strangely, like eating excessively and jumping off palace walls. His odd behavior leads people to think he has lost his sanity. Yeo Ri tries to defend Yoon Gap when he faces the king. As they spend more time together, an unexpected bond develops, and Gang Cheol Yi starts to have feelings for Yeo Ri. He wonders if seeing her through human eyes is making him feel this way. "The Haunted Palace" is set to premiere in April.
