New England regions experienced snowfall while Massachusetts had rain

On Monday, Massachusetts experienced heavy rain, while other parts of New England faced snowfall. According to the National Weather Service, places in Maine, New Hampshire, and some areas of Vermont recorded measurable snow. In New Hampshire, Albany received the most snow, measuring 7.3 inches. Other significant amounts included 5.7 to 6.5 inches in Meredith, 5.8 to 6.4 inches in Bristol, and 6.2 inches in Freedom. Maine also saw notable snowfall. Auburn reported 7 inches, while Lewiston experienced 6.5 inches. Additional locations like Poland and Otisfield saw up to 6 inches as well. Vermont received less snow compared to its neighbors. South Ludlow had the most with 1.9 inches, while Landgrove recorded 1.5 inches.
