The new horror series "Teacup," produced by the creator of "The Conjuring," adapts the essence of the 1980s novel "Stinger" by Robert R. McCammon but diverges significantly from the original plot. Showrunner Ian McCulloch stated he did not feel tied to the book's storyline, focusing instead on its themes and ideas. The series follows a multigenerational family facing a mysterious threat on their isolated ranch. "Teacup" will premiere on Peacock on October 10, with new episodes released weekly.
