A new smart, inclusive school in Greater Noida will open on March 19. The school, located in Mathurapur, has been renovated with funds from Honda, totaling ₹ 1.30 crore. It aims to provide a better learning environment for children in classes 1 to 5. The school features smart classrooms, digital boards, and laboratories. It also focuses on hygiene and health management. For safety, each classroom has two doors for quick evacuation during emergencies. A separate area for mid-day meals has been created for students to eat comfortably. This school follows the 'Green School' model, promoting sustainability. No trees were cut during construction, and more saplings were planted to maintain a green environment. Currently, 90 students are enrolled, with a goal to increase this number to over 150 in the next school session. The government aims to enhance facilities in public schools to match those of private schools. This is part of a broader effort to ensure equal educational opportunities for all students, including differently-abled children. Special ramps and classrooms have been built to support their needs. Minister of State for Basic Education, Sandeep Singh, will inaugurate the school. He emphasized the importance of inclusive education. The new school will also hire specially trained teachers to support diverse learning needs. The Honda India Foundation constructed the school as part of its commitment to education. This is one of three schools it has built for primary education.
