New Jersey amusement parks announce 2025 opening dates

Spring is here, and New Jersey's theme parks are gearing up to welcome visitors for the 2025 season. As the weather warms, families can look forward to thrilling rides and fun attractions across more than 16 parks in the state. Many parks are opening later than last year. This change is due to Easter being three weeks later in 2025. Notably, Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City closed permanently in October. Also, Six Flags Great Adventure will have a different skyline. The famous Kingda Ka roller coaster, once the tallest and fastest in the world, was demolished in February. Several rides have been removed at Six Flags Great Adventure. This includes the Green Lantern roller coaster and the Zumanjaro drop ride. However, there are new attractions on the way. The park is set to open The Flash: Vertical Velocity on its opening day. Meanwhile, Storybook Land is building the Cinderoller Coaster, and Steel Pier has announced two new coasters, with at least one expected to open in Spring 2025. Whether visitors are seeking adrenaline-pumping experiences or a more relaxed day, there will be options for everyone.
