New Jersey man arrested for possessing 300 abuse videos
A New Jersey man has been arrested for allegedly possessing over 300 videos of child sexual abuse. The suspect, Jared Kelly, 34, from Somerset, was taken into custody on March 7. The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received several tips about Kelly. Law enforcement quickly identified him as a suspect. The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office reported that these videos were discovered during a search of his home. Detectives executed a search warrant and seized electronic devices for further examination. Kelly is charged with second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material. He has been released from police custody but is awaiting his upcoming court appearances.
