New Lilo & Stitch posters parody classic Disney films

Disney has released new posters for the live-action remake of "Lilo & Stitch." This film is set to premiere in theaters on May 23, 2025. It tells the story of a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo and her adventures with a fugitive alien named Stitch. The posters creatively reference several classic Disney movies. They show Stitch interacting with iconic items from films like "Aladdin," "Beauty and the Beast," "Cinderella," and "Snow White." All of these movies have also been adapted into live-action versions. The film is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, who has been nominated for an Oscar. The screenplay is written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. The voice cast features Chris Sanders as Stitch, Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba, and Maia Kealoha as Lilo, among others. The original 2002 animated movie was a big hit, earning over $270 million worldwide and receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature. Disney hopes this new version will capture the same magic.
