New Mercedes CLA features advanced 'superscreen' dashboard

Mercedes has launched its latest car, the new CLA, which it claims is the "cleverest Mercedes ever." This model features an innovative "superscreen" dashboard filled with advanced AI software and interactive graphics. One standout feature of the CLA is its impressive range. The CLA 250+ can travel up to 492 miles on a single charge. This means drivers might only need to recharge once every two weeks. The car can also recharge quickly, gaining 186 miles of range in just ten minutes. In addition to the electric version, a new 1.5-litre petrol hybrid will be available. This hybrid can drive short distances using electric power and can reach 62 mph. The starting price for the CLA is expected to be around £50,000. The battery-powered CLA is set to hit the roads this summer, while the petrol version is expected just before Christmas. The launch of this car is significant for Mercedes, as they even projected a special animation onto London’s County Hall to celebrate. Three more models will join the new technology lineup, including an estate version and two small SUVs, likely the GLA and GLB. However, the absence of the popular A-Class hatch in these plans raises concerns about its future.
