New R&B music released this week features various themes

This week saw a variety of exciting new R&B music releases. Artists like 4Batz, Raiche, and Cautious Clay have all contributed fresh tracks to the genre. Dallas native 4Batz released his new single “Mortal Kombat.” It’s part of his upcoming album and tells a story about fighting to keep a relationship alive. Raiche also debuted a new song titled “Girls A Gun.” She describes it as an empowerment anthem about standing up for oneself. Cautious Clay introduced his track “Tokyo Lift (5am).” The song reflects his experiences at a karaoke bar, capturing the fun and energy of a late night out. Zyah Belle teamed up with Ben Reilly for “About Time,” a flirty song about taking chances in love. Montreal’s Chikoruss released “Bestfriend,” which focuses on wanting more than friendship with someone special. Khalil and Dee Gatti collaborated on “Hard To Explain,” continuing Khalil’s momentum from last year. New artist JayDon, only 17, shared his song “I’ll Be Good” after signing with Usher’s label. “Feel The Bass (Prelude)” by Josh Levi and Beam builds anticipation for Levi’s debut album with its high-energy vibe. ABIR’s new single “Made 4 U” reflects deep feelings for a loved one. The British boyband No Guidnce launched their EP “Confessions Of A Loverboy,” which mixes classic and modern R&B sounds. Finally, Eli Derby's “Cadillac Dreams” offers a nostalgic feel reminiscent of the 1960s.
