New restaurant and bar to open in New Hope, PA
New Hope, PA, will soon see a change at the site of the old New Hope Star Diner. Two cousins are in the process of purchasing the diner, which has been closed since November 2023. Anthony Adragna and Frank Picone plan to transform the space into a restaurant and bar. They have submitted their renovation plans to the Solebury Township Board of Supervisors and hope to open by this summer. The cousins have restaurant experience. Adragna previously owned Cafe Antonio in Morrisville, and Picone worked at his father's pizza place, V&S Pizza. Picone is also an accountant. The new establishment will have a dine-in option and a bar. The necessary liquor license has been transferred from the old TGI Fridays at Oxford Valley Mall. Local residents are excited that the space will not remain empty much longer. The old diner was a popular gathering spot known for its late-night hours, providing comfort food for party-goers.
