In Coronado, the Hotel del Coronado will debut Veranda, an open-air restaurant, in April. Veranda will offer American classics for breakfast and dinner, but not lunch. It will introduce dishes such as grilled artichokes and prime rib specials. Following this, the famous Nobu restaurant will open in May. Little Italy will soon welcome Slice House by Tony Gemignani, a fast-casual pizza spot. This will be its first location in San Diego County. It will serve a variety of pizza styles and plans to open in April. For dessert lovers, Teddy's Treats is expanding. The ice cream shop started at Las Americas Premium Outlets and will open two more locations in the coming months. Customers can enjoy sundaes, frozen treats, and more. Finca restaurant in North Park has initiated a fundraiser, donating $3 from selected wine sales to Feeding San Diego. This effort will help provide meals to those in need. Cori Trattoria in South Park has gained recognition, winning a prestigious award from Gambero Rossi. It is one of only five U.S. restaurants to achieve the Three Forks honor this year. On a special note, Tony Pepperoni Pizzerias will offer free pizzas this Saturday in Escondido. Customers can enjoy cheese or pepperoni pizzas from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. This giveaway aims to thank loyal patrons and welcome new ones.
