New Upa Lok Ayuktas appointed in Kerala

Former Kerala High Court judges Ashok Menon and Shircy V. are set to be sworn in as Upa Lok Ayuktas in Kerala. The ceremony will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Legislature Complex. N. Anil Kumar, the Lok Ayukta, will administer the oath of office. Shircy V. has a notable legal career. She was previously the Principal District Judge in several locations including Manjeri, Thalassery, and Thiruvananthapuram. She also served as the chairperson of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple's Administrative Committee before her appointment as a High Court judge. Ashok Menon also has an impressive background. He has worked as the Registrar of the Supreme Court and the Competition Appellate Tribunal in New Delhi. He has held the position of Principal District Judge in Kollam and was the Registrar General of the Kerala High Court before becoming a judge of the High Court.
