NFL concludes investigation into Deshaun Watson's sexual assault allegations

The NFL has concluded its investigation into sexual assault allegations against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, citing insufficient evidence to support a violation of its personal conduct policy. The allegations were made in a lawsuit filed in September. The lawsuit, which claimed incidents from October 2020, was resolved with a confidential settlement, according to the plaintiff's attorney. Watson denied the allegations and was not placed on the commissioner’s exempt list during the review. Watson previously served an 11-game suspension in 2022 after facing multiple accusations of sexual misconduct. He has settled 23 of 24 lawsuits related to those allegations. This season, he has played seven games before suffering a season-ending injury.
