NGOs call on France to enforce ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant
Eleven NGOs have called on France to enforce International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense chief Yoav Gallant. The warrants were issued for alleged war crimes in Gaza. The NGOs, including Ligue de Droit de l'homme and the French Palestinian Solidarity Association, urged France to act if the officials enter its territory. They also advocated for sanctions against Israeli authorities. Former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin stated that France would implement the ICC's decision. However, the French Foreign Ministry described the situation as legally complex and did not confirm enforcement of the warrants.
