An email from NHTSA official Gregory Magno, made public recently, highlighted that Tesla's social media accounts have shared content showing drivers disengaged while using FSD. This contradicts Tesla's messaging that drivers must maintain control of their vehicles. Tesla has clarified that its vehicles are not fully autonomous, despite unveiling a driverless model last month. The NHTSA is currently investigating Tesla's FSD technology, focusing on crashes involving its vehicles in low-visibility conditions.
