Nia Long signs with Artists First for representation

Actress Nia Long has signed with Artists First for her representation. She will play Katherine Jackson, the matriarch of the famous Jackson musical family, in the upcoming biopic about Michael Jackson. The film, titled "Michael," is directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan. It is set to release on October 3, 2025, and stars Colman Domingo and Jaafar Jackson. Recently, Long appeared in the Netflix comedy "You People," where she worked alongside Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The film became a global success, debuting at number one on Netflix. She also returned to her role as Jordan Armstrong in the Peacock series "The Best Man: The Final Chapters," which received record ratings and earned her a NAACP Award. Long has had an impressive career, with notable roles in films like "Boyz in the Hood," "Friday," and "Love Jones." She has also appeared in various television shows, including "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Empire." In addition to her acting achievements, she recently took part in SKIMS' shapewear campaign and published a memoir.
