Nick Richards likely returning for Suns vs. Lakers

Phoenix Suns center Nick Richards is likely to return on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers after missing two games due to a right ankle sprain. He averaged 14.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in four games before his injury. Backup center Mason Plumlee was ejected in both games he started in Richards' absence, leaving rookie Oso Ighodaro as the only active big man. Ighodaro contributed to the Suns' recent win over the Sacramento Kings. Grayson Allen will miss his third straight game with a foot strain. Monte Morris is now questionable after being inactive for nine of the last 11 games due to a back injury. The game will be televised nationally at 12:30 p.m. MDT.
