Nico Carrillo to fight Nabil Anane for interim Muay Thai title after Superlek injury

Nico Carrillo will now fight Nabil Anane for the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world title after Superlek Kiatmoo9 suffered a knee injury. The match is scheduled for January 24 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok. Carrillo was originally set to face Superlek, a top-ranked striker. The winner of the Carrillo-Anane bout will compete against Superlek for the unified title at ONE 172 in Japan in March. Carrillo remains undefeated in ONE Championship, with all his victories coming by knockout. He is currently the No. 1 contender in the bantamweight division.
