Nifty Auto index rises 0.14% in positive market

The Nifty Auto index saw a slight increase of 0.14% on Monday morning. It was trading at 21,786.95 at around 10:04 AM IST. The overall market was positive, with many stocks performing well. Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. was among the top gainers, rising by 2.24%. Other notable gainers included Bharat Forge Ltd. and MRF Ltd., both up by 1.74%. On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. was the biggest loser, dropping 1.97%. The benchmark Nifty50 index also rose, gaining 205.1 points to reach 23,555.5. Similarly, the BSE Sensex climbed by 675.32 points, reaching 77,580.83. Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 40 were up, while 10 were down. In addition, several stocks saw significant trading activity today. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Ola Electric Mobility, YES Bank, GAIL, and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded. Some stocks reached new 52-week highs, while others hit new lows, reflecting varied investor interest in the market.
