Nifty Realty index rises 1.43% in positive market

The Nifty Realty index rose by 1.43% in a positive market on Friday morning. It reached 866.65 points around 11:21 AM IST. Several realty stocks enjoyed significant gains. Raymond Ltd. led the pack with an increase of 8.8%. Other gainers included Phoenix Mills Ltd. (up 3.2%), Godrej Properties Ltd. (up 2.76%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (up 1.58%), and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. (up 1.34%). However, Macrotech Developers Ltd. was the only stock in the index to drop, with a decline of 1.07%. Overall, the benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up by 157.2 points, reaching 23,347.85. The BSE Sensex also saw a significant increase of 523.54 points, landing at 76,871.6. Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were performing well, while 11 were down. In trading activity, shares of Vodafone Idea, Ola Electric Mobility, Manappuram Finance, YES Bank, and Suzlon Energy were among the most actively traded. Some stocks, like Manappuram Finance and ITC Hotels, hit new 52-week highs, while others, such as AGS Transact Tech and Kesoram Industries, recorded 52-week lows.
