Nika Prevc aims for record wins in Lahti

The 2025 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup is coming to an exciting close this weekend in Lahti, Finland, from March 20 to 23. The event will feature top athletes competing for glory. Nika Prevc has been outstanding this season. The 20-year-old has won 15 World Cup events and secured her second Crystal Globe. She recently won gold medals in both the large hill and normal hill events at the 2025 World Championships. Prevc's remarkable performance also included a world record jump of 236 meters in Vikersund, Norway. Although Prevc has already achieved a lot this year, she has a chance to make even more history in Lahti. She is close to matching Sara Takanashi's record of 10 consecutive World Cup wins. Takanashi set this record between December 2015 and July 2016. Prevc could tie this record during the final events of the season in Finland.
