Nikoderiko Director's Cut launches April 15, 2025

The platformer game "Nikoderiko: The Magical World," inspired by Donkey Kong Country, is set to receive a Director's Cut. The game launched on the Switch eShop in October 2024. Publisher Knights Peaks and Vea Games announced this upgraded version will be available on April 15, 2025. The Director's Cut will feature improved gameplay, expanded levels, and better visuals. It will also include new content with additional secrets for players to discover. Dmitry Smirnov, the creative director of Vea Games, expressed excitement about the new release. He called this version the team's "full vision" of their tribute to the platforming genre. Current players will benefit from the update automatically if they already have the game downloaded. A review of the original version noted some technical issues, but players are hopeful the upcoming update will enhance the overall experience.
