Nintendo Switch 2 faces competition from Xbox handheld
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch in May or June 2025, but it may face competition from a new Xbox handheld, codenamed "Kennan," which is reportedly in development. This device could also launch later in 2025. The Xbox handheld is expected to run on a Windows operating system, allowing access to Xbox Game Pass and other PC platforms. Meanwhile, Nintendo plans to produce over 8 million units of the Switch 2 for its launch. Nintendo will reveal more details about the Switch 2, including pricing and launch games, during a Direct conference on April 2, 2025. Upcoming titles include new Mario Kart content and Metroid Prime 4.
