Nintendo Switch Online offers new free profile icons

Nintendo is celebrating the upcoming release of "Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition" by offering new profile icons for subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online. These icons can be obtained using Platinum points, which are easy to earn through various tasks. Starting today, March 19, at 5:00 PM PT, fans can access the first batch of icons related to Xenoblade Chronicles X. This release includes characters like Elma and additional designs. Subscribers can also continue to claim icons from the original Xenoblade Chronicles until 4:59 PM PT today. Over the next month, Nintendo will release more waves of icons related to the Xenoblade franchise. Each icon will cost 10 Platinum points, while backgrounds and frames will cost 5 points. Platinum points can be gained through activities, including playing classic games on the NES app. The Definitive Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X will be available on March 20, generating excitement among gamers. The original game had a difficult run on the Wii U, but with the Nintendo Switch's larger audience, it may finally reach more players. Early reviews for the new edition have been very positive. In addition to free icons, Nintendo Switch Online has expanded features such as the Nintendo Music app, which now includes new soundtracks from Tetris and Dr. Mario.
