Nitesh Tiwari prefers directing Animal Park over Mirzapur 4

Nitesh Tiwari, the director of the upcoming film Ramayana, has expressed a strong preference for directing the sequel to Animal instead of the popular web series Mirzapur 4. In a recent interview, he mentioned his excitement about working again with actor Ranbir Kapoor. During a quick-fire question segment with Komal Nahta, Tiwari was asked to choose between the two projects. He chose Animal Park, the sequel to the successful film Animal, without hesitation. Tiwari explained that even though both projects are outside his usual genres, Animal Park stands out for him. The reason for his choice is the chance to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor again. Tiwari said he finds it more appealing because it allows him to achieve greater performances. Animal Park is expected to be darker than the first movie, which was a hit in 2023. Currently, Tiwari and Kapoor are busy filming Ramayana. This epic tale is being created as a two-part series, with Kapoor playing Lord Rama. The cast also includes Sai Pallavi, who plays Maa Sita, and Yash, who takes on the role of Ravana. The two parts of the film are set to be released on Diwali in 2026 and 2027. Producer Namit Malhotra highlighted the team's commitment to bringing the epic story to life with deep respect. Fans are looking forward to this collaboration as it marks the first major project between Tiwari and Kapoor since Ranbir's cameo in Tiwari's Chillar Party in 2011.
