Nitro Gen Omega game launches this summer on Steam
A new gameplay trailer for the anime RPG Nitro Gen Omega was unveiled at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. The game combines elements of spaghetti westerns with anime style, creating a unique setting. Nitro Gen Omega is a turn-based tactical RPG. Players lead a group of mercenaries in a wasteland controlled by machines. You can recruit pilots with unique abilities and build relationships that evolve throughout the game. Each pilot controls different parts of a mech used in cinematic battles. Customization is a key feature. Players can tune their mechs for various tactics. The battle system is inspired by shonen anime, allowing for planning and resolution phases. Decisions made during planning come to life in real time during battles. Injuries and deaths of pilots are permanent, so managing their morale is essential. Players must build relationships with their pilots on the airship that serves as the base. Activities and shared meals can provide benefits during fights, and friendships or rivalries can impact performance. Nitro Gen Omega is set to launch this summer on PC via Steam. Players can wishlist the game and try out a demo right now. More games from the Future Games Show can also be explored on Steam.
