Nizami Brothers enchant Delhi University at Tarang'25 fest

The Lady Shri Ram College for Women hosted its cultural festival, Tarang’25, on Friday evening. The event featured a lively performance by the Nizami Brothers, who entertained around 4,000 students from various colleges within Delhi University. The Nizami Brothers captivated the audience with popular Sufi songs and qawwalis, including hits like "Kajra Re" and "Afreen Afreen." Students expressed their delight at experiencing a soulful evening filled with different music, contrasting with the usual pop and Punjabi songs typically heard at college festivals. During their performance, the brothers also shared shayari, adding another layer of charm to the evening. They playfully engaged with the crowd, even inviting faculty members to join in. A standout moment came when they dedicated a sher to the acting principal, Kanika K Ahuja, which received a big cheer from the audience. After the show, Ahuja praised the performance, describing it as mesmerizing and saying it created a magical atmosphere that resonated with everyone present. The event allowed students to escape from their academic stresses and enjoy a beautiful musical experience.
