No Drama competes for Country Championships spot Sunday

Trainer Matthew Dale from Goulburn aims to secure a place in the $1 million Evergreen Turf Country Championships Final. He will race his horse, No Drama, on Sunday in the final qualifier at Randwick on April 5. No Drama will participate in the Evergreen Turf Southern Country Championships Wild Card. The horse, a five-year-old son of Ghibellines, will be ridden by Nick Heywood. No Drama recently finished sixth at the SERA Country Championships in Nowra, just over one and a half lengths behind the winner. Dale feels confident about No Drama's chances. He described the previous race as strong and noted that No Drama was competitive throughout. The horse has drawn well in gate nine, allowing Heywood to make strategic decisions during the race. The competition will include other horses from the Nowra event, such as Ticklebelly and Mighty Myrtle. Dale knows the field is tough but believes No Drama has a chance. Meanwhile, trainer Danielle Seib is also looking to claim a spot in the final. She will enter Bide Your Time, who has shown good form with two wins and a second place in his last three starts. However, Bide Your Time faces a challenging barrier to start from.
