Noida authority's board meeting set for March 28
The Noida authority will hold a board meeting on March 28. The meeting will be led by Manoj Kumar Singh, the Noida chairman and chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh. The focus will be on key development decisions. Officials are preparing agendas to discuss at the meeting. These agendas will help ensure that the authority can smoothly carry out its development projects. The Noida authority was established under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Act of 1976. It includes members from the state government and various industrial bodies. This meeting is particularly important because the authority is expected to approve its annual budget for the financial year 2025-26. All departments, such as land, horticulture, and finance, are getting ready with their agendas. Satish Pal, the additional chief executive officer, mentioned that these agendas should be finalized by Monday. The budget for the upcoming year is projected to be around ₹9,000 crore, an increase from ₹7,700 crore in the previous year. However, the final budget will be confirmed at the board meeting. The authority will also discuss new plot schemes for buyers looking to establish industrial and commercial units in Noida. Additionally, the board will address budget allocations for various developmental works. This includes building and maintaining roads, drainage, water supply, and parks. Lastly, there may be discussions on increasing allotment rates for different types of properties due to rising property prices in the city.
