North Eastern Railway cancels and diverts multiple trains
Patna: The North Eastern Railway has cancelled four passenger trains and changed the routes for 17 others. This is due to ongoing engineering work in the Lucknow division. The work aims to improve infrastructure, safety, and speed of train operations. The cancelled trains include the Gandhidham-Bhagalpur and Ahmedabad-Darbhanga specials. The Gandhidham-Bhagalpur train will be cancelled on several dates in March and April. The Ahmedabad-Darbhanga train will also not run on the same dates. Passengers are advised to check the status of their trains on the official railway website or by calling railway inquiry services at 139. This will help avoid any inconveniences. Many important trains have been diverted to different routes, including Darbhanga-Anand Vihar and Katihar-Delhi. Other affected trains include Barauni-New Delhi Clone and Patliputra Junction-Udaipur City Humsafar, among others.
