North Korea reveals upgraded Tianma-2 battle tank at defense exhibition
North Korea has introduced the Tianma-2 battle tank, an upgraded version of the Cheonma-2, at a defense exhibition in Pyongyang on November 21. The new tank features a design similar to modern Western models, including advanced armor and weaponry. The Tianma-2 is operated by a three-person crew and includes a 125 mm cannon with an automatic loading system. It also has an Active Protection System to defend against anti-tank weapons, marking a significant upgrade for North Korean armored forces. This unveiling occurs amid reports of North Korea expanding a weapons-manufacturing facility linked to short-range missiles used in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
