North Macedonia mourns 59 victims of nightclub fire
Mourners across North Macedonia gathered to lay to rest 59 victims of a tragic nightclub fire. Among the deceased were members of the popular pop band DNA. Funeral services took place on Thursday in various towns. This was in response to the devastating fire that occurred on March 16 in Kocani, which took the lives of many. In Kocani, where 43 victims were buried, hundreds attended the somber ceremonies. Many wore black clothing and brought white flowers and photographs of the deceased. A religious service was held at the city cemetery, led by Orthodox clergy. Red Cross personnel were present to assist families during this difficult time. Authorities set up barriers to help maintain privacy for the grieving families as they mourned their loved ones.
