North Shore Uranium signs agreement with English River First Nation
Skyharbour Resources Ltd. has announced that its partner, North Shore Uranium, has signed an exploration agreement with the English River First Nation in Saskatchewan. This agreement focuses on collaboration at the Falcon property, located in the eastern Athabasca Basin. North Shore plans to acquire an 80% stake in the Falcon property. To do this, they will issue shares worth CAD $1.225 million, make cash payments totaling CAD $525,000, and spend CAD $3.55 million on exploration over the next three years. The English River First Nation has a significant historical connection to the land encompassing the Falcon property. North Shore has identified 36 uranium targets on the Falcon site. The targets are linked to electromagnetic anomalies, which are promising for uranium exploration. Recently, they found uranium mineralization at two drill sites. The Falcon property is near the Key Lake uranium mill, a significant facility for uranium processing. Historical production from the nearby Key Lake mine was substantial, indicating potential resources in the area as exploration continues. North Shore's CEO, Brooke Clements, emphasized the importance of maximizing discovery chances at Falcon. The company plans to focus its next drilling program on promising targets, particularly in areas identified as high-priority. Skyharbour, as a major player in uranium exploration, holds numerous projects in Saskatchewan and is partnered with several other companies to advance its exploration efforts. They aim to benefit from a strengthening uranium market while working closely with local First Nations on their projects.
