North York salon owner charged with sexual assault
A hair salon owner in North York has been charged with sexual assault against two boys. The allegations involve incidents that occurred while the boys were getting haircuts at his salon. According to Toronto police, the first incident happened on March 7. A boy was assaulted during his visit to the Miss Agot salon, located near Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue. Police also reported that another boy was assaulted multiple times at the salon from January 2023 to January 2025. The 60-year-old owner from Toronto was arrested on March 8. He appeared in court the following day facing a charge of sexual assault. He was arrested again on March 14 and appeared in court on March 15 for additional charges, including sexual interference. Police believe the man has been a hairdresser in Toronto for many years and are concerned there may be more victims. They are urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
