Northeast Thailand prepares for summer storm risks
The Thai Meteorological Department has warned that summer storms are likely to affect the country at the end of March. A cold air mass is expected to move into the Northeast region on March 29. This change will bring storms to that area first. All parts of the country, including Bangkok and nearby provinces, should prepare for these storms. The latest weather forecast shows warm and sunny weather until March 28, with very high daytime temperatures. Some areas may even face extreme heat during this period. Starting from March 29 until April 7, the cold air mass will spread across the country. The warm air typical of summer will mix with the cold air, increasing the chances of severe weather. This could include strong winds, lightning, and heavy rain, according to the department.
