Scientists now believe 2024 will be the warmest year ever recorded, with temperatures consistently exceeding pre-industrial levels. The year-to-date average is 0.72°C above the 1991-2020 average, surpassing the same period in 2023. While global temperatures rose, Europe experienced a cooler November, with an average of 5.14°C. The Copernicus Climate Change Service also reported low Arctic sea ice levels, indicating ongoing climate changes.
