NVIDIA app update expands DLSS options for users
NVIDIA has released an update for its app that enhances support for DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) features. The update now allows users to access all DLSS preset options with an override feature and introduces custom scaling. Previously, users could only choose between two settings: DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) or the "Ultra Performance" DLSS preset. The latest update expands options to include Performance, Balanced, and Quality presets. This flexibility helps gamers enjoy better graphics in more games that do not have built-in DLSS support. The update also adds custom resolution scaling. Users can now adjust DLSS Super Resolution anywhere from 33% to 100%. A setting of 100% corresponds to DLAA, while 33% is the Ultra Performance mode. This customization allows players to find the best balance between image quality and performance. In addition to the DLSS updates, the NVIDIA app has also moved Display Scaling and Display Color settings from the Control Panel to improve user experience. This change modernizes the interface and gathers all NVIDIA GPU features in one place. To take advantage of these new features, users need to have the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver or NVIDIA Studio Driver installed. The update is part of NVIDIA's effort to enhance gaming performance and visual quality.
