Nvidia launches DLSS 4 technology with GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card
Nvidia has introduced its new DLSS 4 technology with the GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, enhancing image quality and frame generation. The new model uses a vision transformer, improving stability and detail while reducing ghosting and smearing compared to previous versions. DLSS 4 allows for two to three frames to be generated, significantly increasing frame rates. Initial tests show a 91% improvement in frame rates over the previous RTX 4080 Super, with frame rates exceeding 120 fps in Cyberpunk 2077. The new technology is compatible with older RTX cards and aims to enhance gaming experiences on high-refresh-rate displays. Further testing and reviews of the RTX 50-series GPUs and DLSS 4 are expected soon.
