Nvidia launches new gaming chips and desktop PC to strengthen AI leadership
Nvidia has introduced new gaming chips and a desktop PC to maintain its leadership in artificial intelligence. CEO Jensen Huang announced these developments at the CES trade show in Las Vegas, highlighting partnerships with companies like Toyota and MediaTek. The new GeForce 50 series graphics cards will utilize AI to enhance gaming experiences. The flagship RTX 5090 will be available for $1,999, with the RTX 5070 launching in February for $549. Previously, gaming was Nvidia's main revenue source, but data center operations now dominate. Nvidia's new desktop PC, Project Digits, is designed for AI developers, featuring a powerful Grace Blackwell Superchip. This device aims to support large AI models, addressing limitations of current laptops.
