Nvidia launches RTX 50 Series GPUs with double performance and new DLSS 4 technology at CES 2025

Nvidia has launched the RTX 50 Series graphics cards at CES 2025, featuring the new Blackwell architecture. The RTX 5070, priced at $549, matches the performance of last year's RTX 4090, which cost $1,999. The lineup includes the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070, all with enhanced memory and CUDA cores. The RTX 5090 offers 32GB of GDDR7 memory and 21,760 CUDA cores, achieving double the performance of the RTX 4090 in certain games. New DLSS 4 technology enhances performance, allowing for up to eight times the frame rate compared to traditional rendering. The GPUs support DisplayPort 2.1b and PCIe Gen 5, with laptop versions set to launch in March.
