NVIDIA launches RTX 50 series graphics cards with prices up to $2,000 at CES 2025
NVIDIA unveiled its new RTX 50 series graphics cards at CES 2025, with prices ranging from $549 for the RTX 5070 to $1,999 for the RTX 5090. The new models will be available starting in January, with laptop versions launching in March. The RTX 5090 features 32GB of GDDR7 RAM and 21,760 CUDA cores, promising up to double the performance in certain games compared to the previous RTX 4090. The RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti also offer significant performance improvements, particularly with the new DLSS 4 technology. NVIDIA recommends a 1,000-watt power supply for the RTX 5090 due to its high power consumption. The new graphics cards will support advanced features like multi-frame generation, exclusive to the 50 series.
