Nvidia reveals new gaming chips and robotics advancements at CES
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced new gaming chips and robotics advancements at CES in Las Vegas. The next-generation chips, using Blackwell AI technology, promise movie-quality graphics and are twice as fast as previous models, priced between $549 and $1,999. Huang introduced an AI model called Cosmos, which generates video for training robots and self-driving cars. This synthetic training data aims to enhance their understanding of the physical world, although more data is needed for significant progress in robotics. The new gaming chips will be available to consumers starting in late January. Nvidia's shares reached a record high ahead of the event, highlighting the company's growth from graphics chips to AI technology, now valued over $3 trillion.
