Nvidia shares reach record high as CEO unveils new gaming chips and robotics advancements at CES 2025
Nvidia shares rose 1.7% to a record high of $151.94 after CEO Jensen Huang introduced new gaming chips at CES 2025. The GeForce RTX 50-series chips promise improved graphics and faster performance, set to ship in March. Huang also hinted at advancements in robotics, introducing an AI model called Cosmos that could lower training costs for robots and self-driving cars. He noted that significant breakthroughs in general robotics are expected soon. Nvidia's gaming sales now account for less than 10% of total revenue, overshadowed by its booming AI chip sales. The company has seen data center sales double for six consecutive quarters, reaching over $30 billion.
